Merton Park Residents' Meeting

Talking about co-ordinating local health services

At the next Merton Park Ward Residents' Association meeting on Tuesday (September 2) at Merton Park Primary School in Erridge Road, Adele Williams from Healthwatch Merton talk about plans to 'Join up’ our health services.

That means coordinating Health and Social care, where NHS and Local Councils have responsibilities, but also getting stronger links between GP and hospital services.

There will be time for you to put your questions and give comments. Healthwatch are keen for everyone to have their say in the way they can access all these services so your views will be fed into the current Healthwatch consultation.

The meeting, which starts at 8pm, will also hear from Krysia Williams, a previous Ward Councillor, who was recently re-appointed as our Independent Councillors' nominated representative on the Merton Priory Homes board.

Krysia will talk about her role as a trustee of the MPH Community Fund, which awards grants for initiatives to community groups.
