Forthcoming residents' association meeting
The next meeting of the Merton Park Ward Residents' Association will hear more about plans by Bright Horizons to open their nursery in the former Wimbledon House School.
They plan to open up for three-to-five year-olds from early 2013 and improvement works are already well underway to the once-empty building at the corner of Dorset Road and Kingston Road.
The meeting will start at 8pm on Tuesday (November 6) at Merton Park Primary School in Erridge Road. It will also hear more on McCarthy & Stone's plans for a care home as part of the redevelopment of the Nelson Hospital site on Kingston Road.
