Charity plant sale on your doorstep
A summer plant sale is being run by the The John Innes Society on Saturday (May 21) at 5A Sheridan Road, in Merton Park.
Society members have donated a wide variety of herbaceous plants, annuals and shrubs, which will be for sale.
There will also be bedding and container plants bought in for the sale and sold on at bargain prices. Special features are lilies and unusual varieties of holly.
Admission is free to members of the Society, 50p for non-members. It starts at 10.30 and runs to 12 noon. Enquiries to John Innes Society on 0208-542-9321.
