Free conference in Wimbledon

The Merton Partnership, which brings together organisations that provide services or are involved in public life in Merton, is hosting a free conference to showcase its success over the past 10 years in building a strong reputation for effective partnership working.

The conference is called Working together, better together in Merton

Who will be speaking?

  • Nick Hurd MP, Minister for Civil Society will give the keynote address outlining government’s view of the role of partnership working in designing and delivering services, and will launch a new partnership project.
  • Simon Blake, Chair of Compact Voice, will highlight the case for the role of the Compact in Partnership working.
  • Senior leaders from across Merton will outline what makes our partnership working so special.  There will be an opportunity to see a wide range of examples of good practice.

Where: All England Lawn Tennis Club in Wimbledon

When: Tuesday November 6

Who should go?: Leaders and senior officers across local government, voluntary and community sectors and any public service involved in local partnership working.
