Police Stop School Bus Driver With Shattered Window


Driver is "reported" after being stopped in Merton

Merton police stopped the driver of the following school bus when he was driving it along Morden Hall Road yesterday (May 19).

The driver was stopped by the Metropolitan Police's Roads & Transport division.

They said on their Twitter account (@MPSRTPC) that the driver had been "reported" after the coach was stopped.

They also tweeted the pictures of the window (see below), showing the driver's view of the road.

It had been involved in a road accident at 8am, and when it was stopped by police at 9.30am, there were no children inside.

The driver was reported for a defective windscreen, driving without without due care and with an unroadworthy vehicle.
