How To Get Your Christmas Tree Collected

Free service from the council

Merton Council will collect and compost real Christmas trees for free between Monday (January 5) and January 25.

Just remove the decorations and place your tree at the front of your property from 6am, where it can be clearly seen from the road, but not on the pavement.

If your tree has not been collected by January 26, complete the missed collection form.

The trees collected are either composted or turned into chippings which will be used as a mulch to spread on the council's flower beds. The mulch will suppress weed growth and help the soil to retain moisture.
