Free service runs for two weeks
Merton residents can re-cycle their Christmas trees from today (Monday January 9) by leaving them on the front edge of their property.
Merton Council's free Christmas tree re-cycling service runs until Friday January 20. They ask that all decorations are removed first.
The trees will be turned into compost and used as a soil improver.
Any trees not yet collected by January 23 can be reported by calling the waste help line on 020 8274 4902.
