Air your opinions at MPWRA meeting
The next monthly Merton Park Ward Residents' Association takes place at the primary school in Erridge Road at 8pm on Tuesday February 1.
The meetings take place on the first Tuesday of each month (except January and August) and give Merton Park residents a chance to hear guest speakers and quiz the local borough councillors.
The guest speaker for February's meeting will cover the work of Citizens' Advice Bureaux.
Fosuah Poku, Chief Executive of Merton and Lambeth CAB, will be talking about how the CAB has evolved from its beginnings in World War Two to the role it plays today. The onset of the economic recession has meant its recent workload has increased by 70%.
