Opening its doors to patients in April
The construction and fit out of the new state-of-the-art Nelson Health Centre on Kingston Road in Wimbledon is complete.
It will provide a range of primary care and community services to local residents, including two GP practices moving into the building.
The Church Lane practice in Merton Park and Cannon Hill Lane medical practice will relocate to the new centre and form a new, single, organisation.

The building has now been passed from South London Health Partnership (SLHP) to Community Health Partnerships (CHP) who will manage the facility as head tenant.
NHS Merton Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been leading on the planning of the clinical services at the facility and is currently working with the appointed service providers to equip and prepare the building for when it opens its doors to patients on April 1.
Service providers at the centre include Sutton and Merton Community Services, South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust and St George's Healthcare NHS Trust/ Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Trust (ophthalmology).
Dr. Sion Gibby, Merton CCG locality lead for Raynes Park, said: "We are very excited that the patients will soon have this innovative healthcare centre available to them. The Nelson Health Centre will be a spacious and modern environment allowing more people to be seen, diagnosed and treated as quickly as possible."
Wayne Walbrook, Operations Manager from SLHP, said: "Rydon Construction has done an exceedingly good job, the building has been handed over on time and the quality of the works is excellent."
Jamie Andrews, Area Director at CHP, said: "We are delighted that this state-of-the-art, spacious, modern health centre has reached practical completion and is set to play a significant role in developing and improving the quality of health and social care services for residents of Merton and the wider local community."
