Chasing Waterfalls In Wimbledon Park

Renovation project comes to an end

A new waterfall and garden has been opened in Wimbledon Park at the end of a 12-week renovation project.

The new feature, including seats and two walkways, was developed by Matthew Childs of Matthew Childs Design and the Chairman of the Wimbledon Park Heritage Group, Sim Comfort.

Contractor Visible Changes carried out construction work during severe weather conditions to complete the project in time for the opening, by the Mayor of Merton, Councillor Oonagh Moulton.
