Initiative to help people with mental health difficulties
A new community cafe is aiming to connect people experiencing mental health difficulty to each other for peer support, as well as the wider community.
The Avanti Club will be launched by MVSC at a special event on Thursday December 11.
Join them at 4pm at the New Horizon Community Centre in Pollards Hill, as they open the Avanti Club Café and celebrate the initiative with tea, coffee and cake.
The Avanti Club will be held on Monday evenings starting on Monday December 15, at the New Horizon Community Centre, with weekly activities designed to provide a warm and nurturing environment and build a sense of connection and community.
