Alex Williams: Head professional at Wimbledon Common Golf Club
The new Head Professional at Wimbledon Common Golf Club - Alex Williams – said on his appointment that he couldn’t “wait to get started with his new career!”
He said: “I first played golf when I was 4 years old and knew then I wanted a future in golf”.
Alex turned professional when he was 18, started studying for his PGA Foundation degree and has been fully qualified for six years. He has coached hundreds of golfers ranging from complete beginners to touring Europro professionals.
For the past three years he worked at Surbiton Golf Club as an Assistant PGA Professional.
“My passion and enthusiasm for the game of golf shows in my coaching style. My aim is to build the confidence and skills of everyone I teach; whether a low or high handicap player all my lessons are tailored to the individual’s goals and aspirations”, he added.
