Mother's Day charity event
Why not run with your mum and raise funds for charity at a special event in Old Deer Park at Richmond on Mother's Day?
It will be the first event in the 2011 inaugural Rainforest Foundation UK 4 Seasons Challenge, with four 10K races in across North, South, East and West London, one in each season.
Mothers and children of all ages and running abilities will kick off the first race on the day, with a special race for Mother's Day (Sunday April 3) – with anyone welcome to come along and run with their mum as a pair in the Mother's Day 1k! This will precede the kids' 1k and the main event, the 4 Seasons Challenge 10k race.
The 4 Season Challenge – is a new race event in London's running calendar, all to benefit the Rainforest Foundation UK, a human rights and environmental charity.
Runners can enter individual races as a one-time competitor or register for the full 4 Seasons Challenge. There are no rules about which race must be completed to begin the challenge, you just need to compete in four consecutive events.
Once registered, runners who have signed up for the full 4 Seasons Challenge will be able to compare their times over all four events and have access to exclusive online & in-pack content from a variety of industry and celebrity sources for race registrants to help them train towards their own personal challenge goals.
