Perform Alongside The Olympic Torch
Chance to shine during Wimbledon event
Local performers and residents are being given the chance to take part in performance slots along the Olympic Torch route in Wimbledon.
Anyone who wants to be considered is being called upon to attend a public meeting on Tuesday July 10, 7pm-8.30pm.
The meeting, which takes place in the Council Chamber at the Civic Centre in Morden, will give people the chance to hear the plans for the day and discuss performance positions along the route.

Cabinet member for Community and Culture, Councillor Nick Draper said: "The Olympic Torch coming here is a once in a lifetime opportunity so if you run a choir, play in a band, cheerlead or a local performer and want to be involved then come to the meeting and see if we can fit you in to the torch relay plans."
