Man was taken for questioning at a South London police station
Police have released a man they questioned over a series of burglaries in the Wimbledon Village area dating back to 2006.
A 38-year-old man had been arrested at an address in Wimbledon on June 5 on suspicion of burglary. He was taken to a south London police station.
His arrest followed an investigation by the Metropolitan Police Service's Trident and Area Crime Command and Merton CID into burglaries in and around Wimbledon Village over a ten-year period.
Police released the man today (June 7), and said the investigation continued.
