Last chance to catch the Moomins

The spring/summer season at Wimbledon’s Polka Theatre is coming to an end soon.

This summer the Polka is going mad for Moomins in a new co-production between Polka and Royal & Derngate, Northampton, in association with Little Angel Theatre.

Tove Jansson’s classic characters come to life on stage for a new generation aged 4 - 8 in Moominsummer Madness from 11 June – 16 August. Adapted by Phil Porter with outstanding puppetry, laughter and live original music, find out what happens when a great flood sweeps through Moominvalley and the Moomins find a mysterious new home… a floating theatre!

Returning after a sell-out run in 2010, Polka’s critically acclaimed Skitterbang Island co-produced with Little Angel Theatre is sailing back into our Adventure Theatre from 15 June – 16 August.

This heart-warming puppet opera for ages 3 – 6 sees a brave little girl in the very north of the world meet a curious creature… the Skitterbang! An exciting tale of discovery and friendship that has been called “delightful in every way” by The Guardian.
