Public exhibition for chance to comment on the scheme
Plans have been announced to build a 176-bed Premier Inn hotel in the empty former Job Centre office building on The Broadway in Wimbledon town centre.
Planning consent for a hotel development is already in place, but Whitbread propose a “significantly improved” scheme including a family restaurant.
The site at 153-161 The Broadway has been unoccupied for some time. It once housed a Henry J Bean restaurant at the ground floor level.
Whitbread are holding public consultation/exhibitions on Monday and Tuesday to give local residents the chance to comment on the scheme. They take place as follows:
Monday 15 February: 3.30pm – 7.30pm
Tuesday 16 February: 2.00pm – 6.00pm
