Wimbledon Brewery was recently packed with local foodies, journalists and residents all keen for sneak peak of the food and music that will be coming to Wimbledon Park this May for Pub in the Park.

Michelin-starred chef and Pub in the Park favourite Atul Kochhar served some of his award-winning Indian cuisine, including samosa with tamarind chutney and masalchi tikka with mint chutney at the event, which previewed the forthcoming Pub in the Park festival. Although Atul hasn’t released his menu for Pub in the Park 2022 yet, his samosa has often featured at previous festivals elsewhere in England.

The team from British Afghan Smoked BBQ Company Cue Point, based in Chiswick, gave event guests brisket nacos and smokey aubergine nacos – both will be served at Pub in the Park Wimbledon.

Food and drink expert Andy Clarke put on a cocktail demonstration - making a drink Carrie Bradshaw would be delighted to sip on, with a twist on a classic, The Moira Rose & Clementine Cosmopolitan.

Chef and Saturday Kitchen host Matt Tebbutt and presenter, content creator and food journalist Leyla Kazim, who will be co-hosting Pub in the Park Wimbledon, compered the night and led a Q&A with the chefs. The event soundtrack came from DJ Joe Gordon, who was spinning and mixing tunes from Pub in the Park Wimbledon’s line-up.
