Submit your question to the council

Your chance to put your question to Merton Council's cabinet is being offered at the next full council meeting on Wednesday July 11.

If you would like to have your question answered as part of the meeting you need to submit your question by 5pm on Friday (June 29).

The council meeting allows one question only per person, per meeting. The question must be written and should comprise a maximum of 50 words and must relate to a matter for which the council has a responsibility or which affects the borough.

Those asking questions are welcome to attend the meeting and to ask an oral supplementary question seeking clarification on any point made in the original answer.

Please submit your question in writing to the Democratic Services team by e-mail to democratic.services@merton.gov.uk or by post or by-hand to the Merton Civic Centre offices, London Road, Morden SM4 5DX (deadline for receipt 5pm on June 29).

The council also invites the submission of written questions to its cabinet members at the council meetings to be held on the following dates:

12 September         (deadline for receipt of your question 31 August 5pm)
21 November           (deadline for receipt of your question 9 November 5pm)
9 February 2013      (deadline for receipt of your question 25 January 2013 5pm)
