Local children cycle safely to school
Pupils and teachers from Pelham Primary School in Southey Road, Wimbledon, got on their bikes for a ride in the borough.
Eight pupils from Year Five took part in the ride from their school to Morden Hall Park and back as part of Bike Week (June 18-26).
They were joined by Ali Jafarey from smarter travel organisation Sustrans. Pelham is one of ten schools in Merton involved in Bike It - a Sustrans scheme which helps more than 120,000 children cycle safely to school each day.
