Police Warn About Tandem Centre Traffic Problems

Advice is to walk or cycle to shopping centre

Police in Colliers Wood have issued the following advice about traffic problems around the Tandem Centre in Colliers Wood:

"Dear residents,

There is a temporary traffic issue in the Tandem Centre car-park.

Due to road works there are delays exiting the car-park. Ideally the traffic lights filtering into Christchurch Road should have been delayed. Highways and TFL have looked at this and decide it is not commercially viable for such a short period of time.

The works will be completed by Friday 23rd September. In the meantime unless it is essential that you take your car, we would advise residents to attend the Tandem Centre on foot. SNT have received several calls regarding this but it is not practical for police to man this junction on a daily basis."
