Wimbledon Fencer Rachel Wins Regional Trophy

She scoops award after her placings in Open competitions

Rachel Carter of Wimbledon Fencing Club has been presented with the 2015/16 Harvey's South East Epée Series women's trophy by Will Miller, head coach of Eastbourne Fencing Club.

The Harvey’s South East Epée Series, sponsored by Harveys Brewery, was established in 2014 by Tom Rusbridge to help encourage fencing in the South East. 

The total of each fencer's best four places in the five South East Open competitions (Sussex, Invicta, Brighton, Chichester and Bexley) in the season are added together to form the overall score, and Rachel's silver medal at the Chichester open last season clinched the win for her. She was presented with her trophy on September 17.
