Mark 20 years of South African democracy
Celebrate 20 years of democratic elections in South Africa and mark the 27 years Nelson Mandela spent in prison for a democratic state in this Walk for Freedom day.
It takes place on Sunday April 27 from 11am - 4pm in Wimbledon Park.
Walk 2.7 miles (270 metres for under 5s) and help raise funds and awareness for projects which help disadvantaged children and young people in South and Southern Africa to have the freedom to thrive – through education and skills, human rights and protection from harm.
