Anyone For Wii Tennis?

Fun tournament in Wimbledon

Young Wii tennis aces aged five to 15 are invited to take part in a fun tournament at Wimbledon's Centre Court Shopping Centre this summer.

A 'Game, Set and Match' Wii tennis championship takes place in the centre's lower mall from Monday August 15 to Sunday August 21.

The tournament will take place from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm each day. There's also free tennis-themed face painting for children of all ages from August 19-21.

Everyone taking part in the tournament will receive a free key ring or jelly beans and one lucky winner will receive a Nintendo Wii console.

Samantha Brown, the Centre's marketing manager, added: "With the summer holidays upon us, we know families are looking for different things to do, that are close to home and don’t cost the earth.

"At Centre Court, we love to come up with new, different and vibrant events for the whole family and we are very excited to unveil news of our Wii tennis tournament.

"Wimbledon is already known around the world for tennis so we hoped a different twist on the game could be a fun way of welcoming families this summer, not to mention the chance to win a Wii."
