Wimbledon Barn Conversion In Fire Alert


Home is damaged by the blaze

Six fire engines and around 35 firefighters and officers were called to a fire in a barn conversion on Camp Road, Wimbledon on New Year's Eve.

Part of the ground floor and roof of the six-room residential property were damaged in the blaze.

London Fire Brigade were called at 7.20pm and the fire was under control by 9.45pm.

Crews from Wimbledon, New Malden, Wandsworth, Tooting, Mitcham and Fulham fire stations attended the incident.

The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
