Launch event to take place on the Piazza
This year's Wimbledon Bookfest is launched on the town centre Piazza on Saturday September 27.
There will be a number of free events as part of the launch of the Bookfest, which takes place at various locations in the town from October 3-12.
And Wimbledon Library will host a special event at 7pm featuring Sophie Hannah and her newly-commissioned Agatha Christie novel.
Tickets are selling fast for this year's event, with star names including: Alan Johnson, Clare Balding, Victoria Hislop, Josh Widdicombe, Cerrie Burnell, David Starkey, Henry Marsh, Sophie Kinsella, Julian Baggini, Paul O'Prey, James Naughtie, Penny Vincenzi, Jane Thynne, Paul Merton, Juliet Stevenson reading Pablo Neruda, Brian Moore, Francesca Martinez with Jeremy Hardy and John Inverdale.
