Popular Wimbledon Secondhand Book Shop Is To Shut

Copperfield's has its contents on sale until August closure

A well-known landmark in Wimbledon town centre - Copperfield's secondhand book shop - is to close next month.

The shop, which boast of a collection of 50,000 books, has been open for seven days a week on Hartfield Road.

But it is to close in early August, and until then has everything on sale.

It was set up by Joe and Jane Thubron, who picked Wimbledon as the ideal location for a secondhand book shop after years of selling books on a weekend stall in central London.
