Help Improve Fish Habitats Around Wimbledon Common

Volunteer days on the Beverley Brook

Volunteers are needed to help install large woody material to increase the different habitats available for fish in the Beverley Brook.

The volunteer days, organised by the South East Rivers Trust, take place from 11am-4pm on March 23-25 near Robin Hood Lane on Wimbledon Common.

You'll need to meet by the bridge over Beverley Brook, which leads on from Robin Hood Lane, in time for a health and safety briefing at 11am.

There will be a break for tea, coffee and refreshments about 1.30pm. You might want to bring your own picnic lunch.

You are recommended to wear old clothes and sturdy footwear, such as wellies. You might want to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet.
