Wimbledon public meeting
Climate change is on the agenda of a public meeting taking place in Wimbledon on Wednesday November 14.
Entitled "The Urgency of Climate Change: 3 New Facts and What We Need To Do", it takes place at the Mansel Road Centre, behind Trinity United Reformed Church from 7.30pm-9pm.
The event has been organised by Merton Green Party, Sustainable Merton, Transition Town Wimbledon and the Merton Branch of the UN Association.
Participants will include Harold Forbes, author of How to be a Humankind Superhero; Nick Robins, co-founder of Carbon Tracker; and Tom Walsh, co-ordinator of Sustainable Merton.
