The charitable Craft Half event will combine some people's passions
A running event combining craft beer with a half marathon will be taking place on Wimbledon Common on February 4.
The Street Child charity’s first-ever UK running event – The Craft Half – is a trail half marathon through the Common with half pints of craft beer at fuelling stations every two miles en route.
The start/finish will be in the Richardson Evans Memorial Fields. The Craft Half will be two laps of the route (right) whilst the 10K option will comprise of one lap.
Organisers are also looking for volunteers to help with the event - from cheering runners, to registering participants, to handing out beers, there’s lots to do.
Volunteers need to be at Wimbledon Common for the event from 9.30am to 2.30pm. It’s a chance to join the charity in changing lives across the world, as well as having a fun day out they chuck in a beer too!
