Chance to meet your candidates

There will be a chance to quiz politicians on local issues during a hustings event in Wimbledon on Tuesday April 24.

The elections for the London Assembly member for Merton and Wandsworth, as well as the Mayor, take place on May 3.

Candidates from the four main parties - Labour, Conservervative, Lib-Dem and Greens - have been invited to the pre-election hustings at St Mark's Church in the centre of Wimbledon (behind the library).

Refreshments will be available from 7.30pm on April 24, with the hustings taking place from 8pm-9.30pm. There will informal discussion afterwards.

The event is being held in conjunction with Transition Town Wimbledon, the Wimbledon Civic Forum, St Mark's Church Wimbledon and Transition Town Tooting. For more details, email ttwimbledon@yahoo.co.uk.
