Tory candidate holds with slightly increased majority
The constituency of Wimbledon has been won for the Conservatives by Stephen Hammond, who received 52% of the vote.
He gained 25,225 votes for a slightly increased majority compared to last time.
Turnout was 74% compared with 72% in 2010.
In 1997 the Conservatives lost the constituency to Labour for the first time in nearly 50 years. Labour retained the seat in 2001, but the Conservatives won it back in 2005 when Stephen Hammond became MP.

Siobhain McDonagh took the Mitcham and Morden constituency for Labour. She held her seat with 27,380 votes, 61% of the total vote.
