The London region novice and intermediate championships

The London region novice and intermediate fencing championships took place at Saint Benedict's School, Ealing, on January 31.

Three fencers from Wimbledon took part. Paweł Żakiewicz won bronze in the intermediate men's sabre and Monica Sisiu (both pictured right) won silver in the women's intermediate women's foil.

Derek Mortimer (below) won bronze in the novice épée.
