Cause of Queens Road fire is under investigation
Four fire engines and 21 firefighters and officers were called to a fire at a house converted into flats in Queens Road, Wimbledon on Saturday (December 30).
A small part of a ground floor flat was damaged by fire. One man left the property before the arrival of London Fire Brigade and there were no reports of any injuries.
The alert was made just after 6.30am, and the fire was under control by 8am. Fire crews from Wimbledon, Tooting and Wandsworth fire stations attended the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
