Get into the seasonal spirit with these local events

Wimbledon Guild will be helping the area get into the festive spirit with their involvement in the following events:

Christmas in the Village in Wimbledon Village, Sunday December 9, 10am – 5pm.
 

Christmas in the Village is in aid of Wimbledon Guild and this year the charity - that works to reduce social isolation and loneliness across Merton - will be running the ever-popular Santa’s Grotto (10am-4pm) outside the Dog and Fox.

There will also be carol singers, face-painting and the talented Wimbledon Guild Knitting Ladies will be selling their fabulous and unique Christmas decorations from inside estate agent’s Andrew Scott Robertson office.Go to www.wimbledon-village.com or www.wimbledonguild.co.uk.

Wimbledon Guild Carol Concert, St. Mark’s Church, Wimbledon. Thursday December 13.

Get into the Christmas spirit at this annual carol service held in aid of Wimbledon Guild.

This year the carols will be performed by two Wimbledon schools: The Study Wimbledon and Bishop Gilpin Church of England Primary School. It is also a celebration of St. Mark’s Church 50th anniversary.

Doors open: 6.30pm, service starts 7pm. Tickets: £12 adult, U16 £5, Family Ticket: £30 (2 adults + 2 U16). www.wimbledonguild.co.uk.

Christmas hatJingle all the way! Sing carols with mulled wine and festive fayre on Tuesday December 18, 10.45-12 noon.

Wimbledon Guild host Capsticks’ Choir that will lead a Christmas carols sing-a-long in the Guild House Lounge. Sing your hearts out and socialise over warming mulled wine and festive cakes.
