Building will become a nursery
The former Wimbledon House School, closed for many years and occupied by squatters for some time, will be turned into a nursery.
The building (right), on the corner of Dorest Road and Kingston Road in Merton Park, has been sold by Merton Council to Casterbridge Nurseries.
The central London-based company operate 27 day nurseries and pre-schools in London, East Anglia and the South East.
The building needs extensive refurbishment, and Casterbridge hope to open it as a nursery in early 2013.
