Drop in to offer support
Current and new volunteers are invited to Marie Curie Wimbledon Fundraising Group's volunteer morning on Saturday (July 28) at the Wimbledon Guild.
The aim of the event is to celebrate the group's achievements and discuss ideas for future activities.
Chair Darren Bruce said: "Our volunteers have done fantastic work on behalf of Marie Curie in Wimbledon this year, for example raising £3,400 at our Great Daffodil Appeal collections in March.
"This event is our chance to say thank you to them. We also want to welcome new volunteers who are interested in getting involved in the future. We have ambitious plans for local fundraising events and are looking for people to join the group and help turn these plans into reality."
All are welcome to drop in to Wimbledon Guild in Worple Road between 11am and 1pm. Members of the group will be on hand with tea, coffee and biscuits, to chat about the group's plans and answer any questions.
