Local postman sets up cat blog

The lives of Wimbledon's feline residents are being captured on the internet by postman Gareth Lewis.

The 42-year-old part-time postie is running a popular 'blog' featuring the cats he encounters on his delivery round in various parts of SW19.

His 'Street Mogs' blog shows the photos of cats he has spotted, with each given their own 'Street Mog' name, as well a description, including 'character', 'favourite location' and 'preferred stroke'.

Gareth, who also runs his own photography business, has taken images of more than 80 cats - with alloted nicknames including Alexandria of Wimbledon III, Custard Cream and even Michael Jackson, after his 'moonwalking'-type gait.
