Victoria will be one of ASDA's 'real' people

Wimbledon 'mumpreneur' Victoria Nicol, is celebrating after being picked to appear in a national advertising campaign for the ASDA supermarket chain.

Mother-of-one Victoria (right) was selected in auditions to appear in the new advert for the supermarket’s "Chosen By You" campaign, having demonstrated a passion for cooking.

Victoria, who lives in Wimbledon, and runs local business Mums on the Go, said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have been picked to appear in the supermarket's commercial and I think it is great that ASDA will be featuring 'real' people in their new advertising campaign.

"As a busy mum on the go, it is difficult to juggle cooking healthy, nutritious meals for my family with work and looking after my daughter. Having recipes that are simple and quick to prepare as well as being tasty and nutritious makes life so much easier."

The advert will appear on screens nationally on Monday (October 1).
