Plant Fairs in Wimbledon

Spring is nearly here and there's a chance to fill your garden with locally-grown plants on offer a special plant fairs in Wimbledon.

London Farmers' Markets are organising the Plant Fairs at Wimbledon Park Primary School in Havana Road on Saturday April 30.

Organisers say locally-grown plants are hardier and suited to our climate. They have travelled short distances for brief periods of time from the nursery to your garden, meaning they will prosper for longer while imported plants will struggle.

Participating nurseries include Test Valley nursery, Hertfordshire; Beauchamp Nurseries in Thornton Heath; Little Coppice Nursery in Buckinghamshire; Pioneer Nurseries in Hertfordshire.
