Rugby Legends At Wimbledon Festival

Stars line-up for charity event

The first ever Legends Rugby Festival is happening on Saturday July 13 at Wimbledon RFC, combining sport, music and family entertainment. There will be:

  • rugby tournaments - kids, women's, over 35s - with the chance to play against rugby legends including Serge Betsen, Martin Johnson, Josh Lewsey and Martin Corry.
  • live music including local talent, DJs, and headlined by UB40.
  • food and drink outlets.
  • kids' zone run by kids' entertainers Dazzle and Fizz.
  • fancy dress competition.

Tickets are on sale now. To enter a rugby team, visit www.legendsrugby.co.uk. It's £45 to play, including a Tsunami rugby shirt, £35 to spectate, or £70 for a family ticket.

The event, at Wimbledon RFC in Barham Road, Copse Hill, is in aid of the Restart charity which provides financial, practical and emotional support to ill and injured players, during and after their professional rugby career.
