Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra Stages Charity Concert

Event aims to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support

Wimbledon Symphony Orchestra’s annual concert in partnership with the charity Macmillan Cancer Support takes place next month.

The repertoire is Brahms symphony 1, Finzi Clarinet concerto and the famous Light Cavalry Overture by Suppe.

The event is from 7.30pm-9.30pm on 2 March at St Paul’s Church, Inner Park Road, Wimbledon (SW19 6DA).

Proceeds will go directly to the Merton branch of Macmillan and past concerts have helped fund Macmillan nurses who work in the borough.
