George left his dentures in the club's stand

One lucky AFC Wimbleon fan has been reunited with his false teeth after the club put out an appeal on Twitter.

The dentures were spotted by club staff after Wimbledon's 2-1 home win against Exeter City on Saturday (January 28).

The club's official Twitter account (@AFCWimbledon) tweeted the picture (on the right) and said: "These dentures were left in the stand on Saturday. Can the power of twitter reunite a supporter with their teeth?"

Just a few hours passed by when they came back to report success. They tweeted: "Breaking news - we have found the owner of the dentures! George and his teeth will be reunited soon. Thank you to everybody who helped #Win."
