Thousands to flock to SW19 on June 23

This year's Wimbledon Village Fair will be offering free entertainment for all the family on Saturday June 23.

The annual event, organised by The Wimbledon Guild, attracts more than 20,000 people and has become the biggest free event in Wimbledon.

This year's fair promises to be as huge as ever, with more than 200 stallholders on Wimbledon Common, a food village, as well as dog and horse shows, children's fun and live entertainment.

Last year it raised £40,000 for the Guild, a 105-year-old charity based in Worple Road, offering a range of support and services to people who live or work in Merton.
