New community film involves hundreds of local people
A new community film for Wimbledon Village and Wimbledon Park has involved hundreds of local residents and businesses.
Complementing the Love Wimbledon version filmed around Wimbledon Broadway earlier this year, the video created another version of Pharrell Williams's 'We Are Happy'.
It was filmed by Tom Moulton and edited by son Henry, a freelancer and student at University College, London.
They said the project grew as more community groups, choirs, voluntary groups, sports clubs, activities and local businesses got involved.
As you can see from the You Tube video below, only a few seconds of fame for each was possible. If you look closely, you can see the participants involved Wimbledon MP Stephen Hammond and Tom's wife, Councillor Oonagh Moulton.
Tom said: "This has been a great community project that has captured the imagination and I would like to thank everyone who has been involved. It has taken months but been great fun to complete!"
Henry added: "It was tough editing hundreds of hours of footage into a 3 minute film and to a soundtrack but it was fun and it just makes you smile!"
