Christmas Shopping Day In SW19

Wimbledon Village shops are staging a special Christmas shopping day on Sunday (December 5), with special offers and fun for the family.

Santa will be arriving on horseback at noon and can later be visited in his grotto outside the Dog & Fox pub between 12.30pm-3pm.

There will be a Village Trail for children through some of the shops and the prize will be presented by Santa at pm outside his grotto. You can also visit the horses in Wimbledon Village Stables between 3.30pm-4.30pm

This year’s event is raising funds for the local charity the Wimbledon Guild, who will be working with local schools and church groups to provide festive music throughout the day. The programme is as follows:

11.00 - 11.30 Ricards Lodge
11.30 - 12.00 Ricards Lodge
12.00 - 12.30 Wimbledon Light Opera Society
12.30 - 14.00 Emmanuel Church
14.00 - 14.30 Pelham School
14.30 - 15.00 The Study School
15.00 - 15.30 Wimbledon Choral Society
16.00 - 16.30 St Mark’s Church.
