"No suspicious circumstances" after she is found
A 61-year-old woman, named as Marianne Zeck, was found dead on Wimbledon Common on Saturday (April 23).
Emergency services were called to a spot on the Common, near Camp Road on Saturday morning.
Staff from London Ambulance Service pronounced her dead at 11.30am.
Her death is being treated as unexplained, but there are no suspicious circumstances.
Marianne Zeck (pictured right), who lived in Raynes Park, worked in education management. She was an Associate Trainer at St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in central London.
She also worked on a number of youth and other local projects in Merton.
