Why not stage your own fund-raising event?
Cancer Research UK is encouraging local people to stage their own fundraising events to mark World Cancer Day on Friday February 4.
Organisations around the world are involved in raising the profile of the fight against cancer, with thousands holding fundraising activities on the special day.
The charity's Area Volunteer Manager for South West London, Natalie Brownless, is the person to contact if you need advice about organising your own event in Wimbledon. You can ring her on 0207-735-7736.
The London Fundraising Team of Cancer Research UK have also been organising their own activities to raise funds and have put together this video to tell people what they have been up to.
