Fancy A Mum & Daughter Makeover Day?
A free makeover and photoshoot is on offer
Why not take a break from the busy shopping streets of Wimbledon on Saturday and pop in to the YMCA John Innes Youth Centre for a relaxing and fun makeover and photoshoot session?
From 10am onwards on Saturday (June 27), mums and daughters are offered free hair styling and makeover as well as having their photo taken.
The makeover and photoshoot day is organised by the youth work projects at YMCA London South West.
Anna Harris (left), Head of Youth Work, said: "This is a great opportunity for mums and daughters to spend some quality time together and to take home some lovely photos of the occasion.
"For the Children, Youth and Family Work services at YMCA London South West it's an opportunity to showcase our excellent facilities here at the YMCA John Innes Youth Centre, and to reach out to local families".
YMCA London South West runs youth projects across the Boroughs of Merton, Kingston and Richmond for children aged 9 to 18. At the John Innes Youth Centre, young people can take part in sports, dance and live music gig nights in the sports hall, and they can learn to play instruments, use the recording studio, learn creative writing and arts.
On the Mum & Daughters Makeover and Photoshoot day, all guests will be greeted with a free glass of sparkling orange juice and some savoury summery snacks, before changing into their favourite outfits and getting a hair and makeover styling.
There are limited spaces for this event, and you are asked to email your details to PaulRook@ymcalsw.org before Thursday (June 25) at 12 noon.
The YMCA John Innes Youth Centre is located at 61 Kingston Road, Wimbledon, SW19 IJN, London, within walking distance of Wimbledon train Station, South Wimbledon tube station and buses 57 and 131.
